Desperation and luxury are mortal enemies. Fear and power do not peacefully coexist. On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord. Producers of fear are keenly aware of the power they exert over the masses and seek to exploit this knowledge to the fullest extent possible by using pop music to manipulate people’s thoughts. Fear and power do not peacefully coexist. We understand that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. What sets producers of fear apart is disregard of the people, so that the people fail to recognize that they are being controlled. Fear achieves and maintains dominance by constantly shifting and expanding it's icy currents, but let us brave once more, with a certain serenity, endure what storms may come. One thing we, the people, are unafraid of, is a good fight.
